CRITICAL Software offers a two-day training workshop for engineers, operators, HSE advisors, risk management practitioners and other decision makers looking to learn how to apply the principles of functional safety to the development and assessment of safety systems, based on the IEC 61508 standard.

During the workshop, the main elements of the safety lifecycle are discussed in the context of their relationship to the development of safety systems. The course also covers safety systems conformance to functional requirements and risk reduction targets. Attendees will develop the skills and techniques necessary to specify, implement and assess safety systems in order to meet the requirements of IEC 61508.
